Thanks JM for your research on this. I've owned a couple old Epi amps over the decades and they were nice. I had a 1959 or '60 equivalent to a GA-5 and also a 1963 EA-28 (IIRC) Pacemaker amp...both sounded and looked cool!

Very interesting. I agree the guitar is likely factory two pickup. I came across and almost bought an original two pickup 1963 SG/LP Custom, white finish. I foolishly passed on the guitar because the treble side tuneomatic post had been moved for better intonation!
