1961 Fender Deluxe Amp
Digging and gigging my 1961 Fender Deluxe Amp! The brown amps tend to be overlooked, underrated or be over shadowed by the Tweeds and Blackfaces...this amp sounds chunky! And of course will scream when dimed. I don't dime mine. I run it at about 5 for a gutsy rhythm sound. I swapped out the stock Ox...

Gator hardshell case for Les Paul at low price
Black ABS case for a Les Paul or similar single cut solidbody guitar. Excellent except the little strap that keeps the lid from flopping completely back when the case is open is missing. The case works and looks perfect otherwise. No funky smells, the plush interior is fresh. Comes with tag and unus...

1964 Riviera at great price
Unsolicited! Jay Rosen has what appears to be a very nice 1964 Riviera at a great price (under $3K). He says the guitar has a repaired headstock. It has a black stinger. Maybe it is a repair or maybe it is stock? I've seen at least one other early Riviera stock from the factory with a back of headst...

Re: Face to face get together?
I put a plug in for our site on Charlie Gelber's ES-335.org. Hopefully that'll bring some more traffic to this site...

Re: New favorite speaker!
Celestion doesn't make a 15" guitar speaker so I put a WGS 15A in my custom 1X15 cabinet...sounds so good! Lighter than the old Altec Lansing 418B too!

New favorite speaker!
Hi y'all, putting Celestion Gold Alnicos into all my old Fender amps! Sweet sound, more distict mid range, warm full bass and full highs without being piercing! Highly recommended!

Re: Face to face get together?
Yes, pretty quiet! Too bad more vintage folks don't know about this great site. Anyone up for a face to face get together? I can bring my '62 Riviera and '63 Wilshire!

Hi all!
Hi y'all...I haven't been on the site in awhile! How's everyone doing? Our band has been gigging a lot and I've been using the '62 Riviera. I just scored and have been loving a '61 brown Fender Deluxe Amp. I replaced the stock Oxford with a Celestion Gold 50 watt speaker...sounds great!
