Okay, "The King Kasuals" were not exactly a house-hold name, but the guy on the left, strutting and playing the Epi Wilshire, went on to make some beautiful music ...

Great old photo! The double cut Wilshire was a good choice for lefty Jimi. I heard he couldn't afford the payments on the guitar and had to return it! The bass player is Billy Cox I believe who also went on to bigger things! Wonder who was playing the single cutaway Melodymaker? Love the Magnatone and Fender Concert amps!

That's Alphonso Young on the right. He fronted a band called "The Presidents" before joining Jimi in "The King Casuals".
