I will post photos of this rare bird soon. I regret selling it because I will likely never find another! Inked on serial number from very early in 1961, bikini metal badge logo, gold plated, mini PAFs, stop tailpiece, big neck profile, dot inlays...I sold it for a very silly reason! Being a '61 it had the upper strap button mounted on the body just below the heel. As a result the balance wasn't good, had quite a big neck dive. I couldn't bear the idea of drilling for a second strap button on the upper horn such as you'd find on a '63 model. So I sold it!

Yes folks, the Epiphone "E" sticker on the pickguard was mounted upside down...based on the originality of the rest of the guitar I am confident it was factory original...
