Just came across this today. Not cheap, but these are pretty rare (I've only seen a couple of others from this year with these features). The serial number is close to mine.

Jim, very cool! It appears all the discovered blonde and cherry '62 Sheratons were in a close range serial number-wise. The mint blonde '62 Sheraton I had was S/N 91711. I sold the blondie because it was too mint to play out...I am tempted by this less-clean cherry one but my '62 Riviera is just as nice playing-wise and sound-wise and I have $5K into it!

That price is frightening!

Hello to everyone. Not been here for a while - but then I've not been anywhere much in recent months. Just been taking a break from the internet (and not missing it greatly ).

There is also a 1963 Riviera currently for sale on the 'Net...looks pretty nice but I'll hang onto my near mint '62 Riv!
